Christmas Cookies

My family decided last year that we wanted to start the tradition of making Christmas cookies together every year. We had tried gingerbread houses in the past but they were just too much work and not something that worked for all to participate in, so we decided to do gingerbread cookies instead. It was so much fun! Even the boys participated. I look forward to us doing it again each year:)

We ate pizza and watched "Frosty the Snowman" while the cookies baked.

Then it was time to decorate!

Daphne quickly learned it was more fun to put the frosting in her mouth than on the cookies...

 Rueben and Kamille with their extravagant cookies. They were definitely the most meticulous cookie decorators present and they ended up with some awesome cookies.
