May

From Christmas Letter:

In May, Sierra was able to quit her full-time job at WSU in order to spend more time with Daphne. She now works part-time for Weber State as well as one night a week as an Accountant for a local business. It took quite the leap of faith on our part, but having her home has been a great blessing for our family. Our budget may be tight, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

Pictures of other activities during the month:

This picture captures everything about May. Learning how to slide (or rather, her preference, climbing up the slide..), spending lots of time outside,
while always sporting jewelry and sunglasses.

In case you haven't noticed the trend, it's very important to accessorize, both at home and while out.

We began the trend of waiting outside each night for daddy to come home.
This makes me miss Spring weather!

We had a BBQ at the Jasmers. Daph had fun swinging a
and playing catch at the same time with Uncle Michael.

Prego Aunt Nat braving the slide

Left: Daph sporting the new dress I made her while in South Carolina (that post will be next). Right: Boston and Daphne enjoying the backyard doggies. Every time we went to the Jasmers she wanted to go straight outside to see them. They have since moved. It's a good thing their new backyard has an awesome playground or else I am pretty sure she would insist they get a dog to make up for it:)

The obsession with hiding behind doors began....

We went and saw the fountain show at Farmington Station together. Side note: Her "pretties" in this picture cracked me up. The necklace went all the way to the ground and was quite over the top with all the Mardi Gras masks. At least she is embracing the Louisiana culture we love so much, right?!

Perfect way to start summer with a new water table!

And to wrap up May, we had a fun BBQ and game of croquet with my family for Memorial Day!
